Selected Enzymes for better Digestion

Protease
Protease is an enzyme that causes proteolysis by breaking down proteins into amino acids and helping the formation of new protein products. This enzyme is involved in numerous biological pathways for example helping the body digest the proteins in ingested food, and protein catabolism (braking proteins down).

Amylase
Amylase is an enzyme that breaks down bonds within starch molecules this changes complex carbohydrates into simpler sugars.

Lipase
Lipase is an enzyme used by the body to break down fats to be absorbed by the intestines. This enzyme is a part of pancreatic secretions and participate in fat digestion and metabolism.

Cellulase
One of the functions of cellulase is to enable us to digest fiber from foods such as fruit and vegetables. It is required to allow aur bodies to break down cellulose which is part of the cellular structure of plants.

Bromelain
Bromelain is a proteolytic enzyme found in pineapple. It is needed to form substances that help the body decrease pain and swelling.

Papain
Papain is a dietary supplement derived from the papaya plant. It is a natural digestive enzyme that can help you better digest food and absorb nutrients from the food that you eat. Specifically, papain helps break down proteins. Like most digestive enzymes, papain may help relieve bloating, treat digestive issues, and reduce inflammation.

Peptidase
Peptidase is a dietary supplement that is used to help break down proteins in the digestive tract. Most often it is used to help with digestion, gas, and bloating. It is also used to help reduce inflammation and improve nutrient absorption.

Enzymes
Enzymes are proteins that act upon substrate molecules that help speed up chemical reactions, so by doing this it speeds up our metabolism. Enzymes decrease the energy needed for chemical reactions to occur by stabilizing the transition state. They help build some substances and others they help break down. Almost all metabolic processes in the cell need enzyme catalysis in order to occur at rates fast enough to sustain life.
